What we provide

Samastam provides free online tools for everyday Indian use cases — calculators, lookups, document generators, and conversion utilities. The tools are provided as-is, for informational and convenience purposes.

Not professional advice

Results from our tax, legal, financial, and compliance calculators are not professional advice. They are informational outputs based on rules that may change. For decisions that affect your money, your taxes, or your legal position, consult a qualified Chartered Accountant, tax practitioner, or lawyer.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the site.
• Do not use the site to violate any law, including Indian tax, GST, or data-protection law.
• Do not scrape the tools at high frequency. If you need bulk access, an API is on the roadmap.
• Do not impersonate Samastam or pass off our tools as your own.

Intellectual property

The Samastam name, the visual identity, the written content on the site, and the tool implementations are owned by us. You may link to any public page on https://samastam.xyz. You may not copy substantial parts of the content or reproduce the tools elsewhere without written permission.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on the site, particularly on tax, accounting, lending, and current-account pages, are affiliate links. If you click one and become a customer of the partner, the partner may pay us a referral fee. This does not change the price you pay. We pick partners we would recommend without a fee; we do not write reviews to manipulate clicks.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Samastam is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the tools, including direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. If you rely on a calculator output and it turns out to be wrong because of a rule change, a bug, or a mistake on our part, your remedy is to let us know so we can fix it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect any change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the city where Samastam is registered.
