About Samastam
Samastam means समस्तम् — “everything” in Sanskrit. We are building the tools Indian businesses and individuals reach for every day, on one calm, fast, ad-light site.
Why this exists
Every Indian who runs a business or files a tax return ends up cobbling together five different websites: one for the GST verifier, one for the EMI calculator, one for the PAN lookup, one for the invoice generator, one for the rate table. Each one has its own login, its own pop-ups, its own ad-stuffed layout, and its own way of getting the small details wrong for Indian rules.
Samastam is a single home for those tools — designed for Indian formats, Indian rules, and Indian users. No login walls. No pop-ups asking for your phone number. The tool you came for, working the first time.
What we are building
Over the next year we are shipping more than a hundred tools across ten categories — GST, tax, business, finance, lookup, documents, conversion, text, calculation, and AI-native tools. Each tool gets its own page with real explanation, real examples in Indian numbers, and the sources we drew the rules from.
We are not trying to be the cheapest place to buy software. We are trying to be the most trustworthy place to do the small things — verify a GST number, calculate your HRA, find an IFSC code, generate a compliant invoice — and we want to be honest when a question needs a real human (a CA, a lawyer) instead of a calculator.
How we make money
Most tools are free and will stay free. When a tool naturally connects to a paid product — a tax filing service, a current account, a business loan — we add a clearly-labelled affiliate link to a partner we have actually evaluated. We get paid only if you sign up. We do not sell your data, and we do not show pop-up ads.
Later this year we will launch Samastam Pro for heavy users — bulk operations, CSV export, API access, no ads, higher rate limits — priced for an Indian small business at ₹299 a month.
